Hoosier Uplands Economic Development Corporation is proud to announce the Grand Opening of Limestone Edge, a new affordable housing community designed to provide safe, quality housing and supportive services for older adults in Lawrence County.

The community is located at 3301 South Shawnee Drive, Bedford, Indiana, and the public is invited to attend the Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks from project partners and community leaders, guided tours of the new development, and refreshments.

This project would not have been possible without the support of our valued funding partners - Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, Old National Bank Equity Partners, and Old National Bank.  We also extend our thanks to CPM for their role as construction partner, and to the Hoosier Uplands Board of Directors, Corporation for Supportive Housing, Milestone Ventures, John Hawkins, City of Bedford and Mayor Sam Craig, and the Bedford Housing Authority for their ongoing partnership and support.
