Hoosier Uplands - Departments

TPC through Hoosier Uplands is based in three counties; Lawrence, Daviess, and Knox. This is a grant funded program through the Indiana State Department of Health.

Here at TPC we work within our community with partners to prevent and reduce the use of all tobacco products in Indiana and to protect citizens from exposure to tobacco smoke by changing the cultural perception and social acceptability of tobacco use, prevent youth in Indiana from ever starting to smoke, assist users in cessation, assist in the reduction and protection from secondhand smoke, and support the enforcement of tobacco laws concerning the sale of tobacco to youth and use of tobacco by youth. We work close with the Indiana State Department of Health to promote the Indiana Quitline, which is a free service, offered to smokers who are ready to take the next step in their journey to quit smoking.
