Clinical Placement Activities

  • Medical Student Clerkships-
SCI AHEC & the IU School of Medicine partner together to place medical students with preceptors that practices in family medicine clinics throughout the SCI-AHEC region in order to complete their outpatient family medicine rotations.  Our preceptor network is made up of board-certified family medicine physicians that serve as IU community faculty for these students.  SCI AHEC's role in this partnership consists of coordinating rotation logistics, student housing, amd community-based learning opportunities.

  • Other Clinical Experiences-
SCI AHEC can assist any health profession student from an Indiana College/University with finding clinical experiences throughout the South Central Indiana region.  Our committed medical partners enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience with students.
